Didier Drogba had a unique goal celebration style during his playing career, and it seems his son has picked up that celebration style.

Isaac scored the only goal of the game for his team in a 1-0 win. He might have copied his father’s trademark celebration style, but he still has a long way to go to match his goal tally. Didier Drogba scored 297 times in his hugely successful career as a professional footballer.

Drogba senior became a household name while he was with Premier League club Chelsea. He had signed for the Blues at the start of the 2004/05 season. Drogba was a slow starter but he soon picked up and was unstoppable and unplayable for the better part of his Chelsea career.

Jose Mourinho was responsible for his transfer to Chelsea from French club Marseille after he spotted him during a Champions League meeting with his FC Porto team during the 2003/04 season. Drogba would go on to win a first career league title under his watch at Chelsea in the 2004/05 Premier League season. A second successive league title followed for Drogba and Mourinho.

In his first spell at Chelsea, Didier Drogba spent eight years from 2004 to 2012. The last game of his first Chelsea spell was the 2012 Champions League final against Bayern Munich. The Ivorian was the star of the show as he scored the equalizer for Chelsea before scoring the winning penalty to hand the Blues the Champions League title for the first time in their history. He returned to the club for the 2014/15 season which ended in another league title win for him.
