Sports philanthropist Noah Dallaji has revealed that Manchester United talisman Cristiano Ronaldo will visit Nigeria in June 2022. It would be his first visit to the West African nation and in the company of other stars including Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
The aforementioned Dallaji has done a lot of sports charity works. He has successfully gotten scholarship for some young basketball players in the United States of America (USA) while some young footballers in his foundation are now with English Premier League side Leicester City.
His focus is not only on the male players as he also supported the girl child football programme from Super Falcons of Nigeria and Barcelona star AsisatOshoala plus para-soccer athletes. He was responsible for the Bauchi visit of African football stars such as TresorLomanaLuaLua, KhalilouFadiga and others last summer and he’s keen to do the same with Drogba, Ronaldo and others this summer.
At the FCT SWAN symposium held in Abuja last month, Dallaji revealed that David Beckham, Samuel Eto’o, Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba would be joining other African stars at the MoshoodAbiola Stadium in June 2022. According to him, the football stars would be mentoring the young ones. He also talked about a scheduled meeting with Ronaldo and his representatives in Manchester in March 2022 and how the Portugal international skipper is convinced about the project of nurturing young footballers.
Dallaji is hoping to use his foundation to mentor as many young people as possible and he’s keen for the likes of Ronaldo, Drogba, Beckham, Eto’oand many more football stars to get involved.
